Negotiations for a new EBA for workers employed by NBN Co will commence shortly.
NOTICE OF EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIONAL RIGHTS (NERR)
NBN Co is obliged by the Fair Work Act to issue all employees who are intended to be covered by the proposed Agreement with a Notice of Employee Representational Rights. You are not required to appoint a bargaining representative – as a member of the CWU, your Union is automatically authorised to negotiate on behalf of all members.
YOUR CLAIMS
Your Union is presently developing a log of claims that will guide our negotiating team in pursuit of securing an Agreement that delivers the very best possible outcomes for you and your family.
In order to assist us in ensuring that our claims truly reflect the issues most important to you, please ensure you take the time to complete our member survey, if you have not yet done so.
Our member survey is entirely online and your responses will never be used in a way that will individually identify you. It’ll take five minutes to complete – please click here to complete the survey, now.
WE’RE STRONGER TOGETHER
A strong Union will ensure we secure the best possible EBA outcome at NBN Co – and our strength at the negotiating table is directly correlated to our membership density in the workplace.
CWU contributions are affordable, are 100% tax deductible, includes complimentary income protection insurance for injuries sustained during travel to and from work and provides members with significant savings on petrol, groceries, travel and leisure expenses.
If you work with a colleague who is not yet a Union member, ask them to make us stronger at the negotiating table to deliver a better outcome for everyone. Ask them to join the CWU, today.
