CEPU Assistant Secretary Shane Murphy spoke with Ray Hadley on 2GB this morning regarding the alarming practices taking place across the country by Telstra and its contractors when working with Telstra pits that contain Asbestos.
All CEPU Telstra and sub-contractor members are advised to contact the Union office on (02) 9893 7822 if they have any concerns with regards to training in the handling of Asbestos or if they witness any unsafe work practices involving the removal or handling of Asbestos within Telstra infrastructure.
