Air quality advice – Thursday 12 December 2019

***Update 11:02am***
Air quality in Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst and Muswellbrook in NSW and Florey in the ACT are at dangerous levels. Members working in these areas should request indoor duties or go home.

Air quality levels have improved in Oakdale, NSW since this morning’s update. Those in Oakdale, along with Coffs Harbour, Lismore and Albury in NSW and Canberra in the ACT should limit strenuous outdoor activity and take extra rest breaks – if you have existing respiratory or heart conditions, request indoor duties or go home.

Whilst conditions are improving across the rest of our regions, any member feels that their health and safety is being affected due to the air quality in their particular area of outdoor duties should request indoor duties or go home also.

Any member that requires assistance with this matter should contact us immediately on (02) 9893 7822.

We will continue to keep this post updated throughout the day should the advice change. This post is also available on Facebook at: https://bit.ly/2Pe95pV
