Deliveries in a number of areas remain shut down today due to dangerous conditions.
For those who are at work, air quality in areas in and around Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Bargo, Camden, Oakdale, Bathurst, Orange, Armidale, Goulburn, Wagga and Albury in NSW and the entire ACT are at dangerous levels today. It is UNSAFE to be working outside. Members working in these areas should request indoor duties or go home.
Those in and around Chullora, Parramatta, Richmond, St Marys, Prospect, Rouse Hill, Bringelly, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Wollongong, Kembla Grange, Albion Park South, Wallsend, Newcastle, Beresfield, Wyong, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Tamworth, Muswellbrook and Singleton should limit strenuous outdoor activity, take extra rest breaks and keep a close eye on updates to conditions as they may worsen, Those in these areas with existing respiratory or heart conditions should request indoor duties or go home.
Whilst your region may not be mentioned here, if any member feels that their health and safety is being affected due to the air quality in their particular area of outdoor duties they should request indoor duties or go home also.
